In these most recent years, the renewable energy sources have taken a big role in the Portuguese electricity generation mix, mostly due to the gradual increase of wind farms and solar power plants.
Taking in consideration the willingness of the market players and of the public to know the power plants based on renewable energy sources, namely their geographical distribution and technology, both APREN, with the yearbook of its associates and INEGI, through the publication of its bulletin "Wind Farms in Portugal", have always sought to publish such information.
In a joint effort to fulfill this target, INEGI and APREN created and continue to update the website of project e2p - Energias Endógenas de Portugal (Endogenous Energies of Portugal). e2p gathers relevant information about all the power plants based on renewable energy sources installed in Portugal.
We invite you to get to know our website, expecting to provide a useful and detailed perspective of the usage of renewable energy sources for electricity production in Portugal.
Welcome.

Map usage
In the site's map interface, the user can select one of the many CEPs (Centros Eletroprodutores - Power Plants) present on the map to obtain information relevant to them, such as type, start year and installed power. Each CEP has a dedicated page, complete with a built-in PDF generation system.
In order to find the desired CEP, the user may resort to the CEP searching and filtering tools on the accompanying list. For example, if the CEP is named "Example1" and is of type "Biogas", the user may find it by either putting "Example1" on the search bar or applying a filter that limits the list to CEPs of type "Biogas".
Data center usage
The site's data center consists of eight pages, with two menus located in the upper-right corner - usually "District/Autonomous Region" and "Technology" - where their primary function is to filter the data based on their district (or automous region) or their CEP type respectively. Each page has different rules on whether or not those filters can be utilized.
The latter four pages also contain a customizable date-time range in the upper-left corner that defaults to the current month thus far. In the last page, the "Technology" menu is replaced with "Sessions", which filters the prices based on a given session (daily price or one of the intradaily prices).
License for e2p usage
The main purpose of e2p is to support those that are interested in the renewable energies of Portugal. The information presented, though it has been collected with high concerns of accuracy, does not bond either APREN or INEGI neither shall be used to any other purpose rather than that to which it was created: to support those interested in the evolution of the Portuguese electricity generating capacity resorting to renewable source of energy.
